Groundhog Day

Today is Groundhog Day also known as my favorite holiday of the year. Why? It’s simple. The film with the same name carries a message so deeply intertwined with unconditional love that it’s hard not to love it.

The day that repeats itself, it never ends, why? Because we continue making the same mistakes of being selfish, greedy, ignorant, and petty.

When does the day end and we get released from an infinite cycle of misery? When we learn to love all people unconditionally, without expectations.

Go watch Groundhog Day today and whether or not winter continues doesn’t matter, as long as you can let go of expectations of others - just for today.
